Energy statistics, August 2026
Primary energy production increased by 4.7% year over year to 2.1 million gigajoules in August, with five of the six subsectors posting gains.

Screened passenger traffic at Canadian airports, September 2026
In September, 5.2 million passengers passed through pre-board security screening at checkpoints operated at Canada's eight largest airports, up 4.5% from September 2025.

Data availability: Life expectancy by health region and peer group, 2023 boundaries and names
Today, Statistics Canada is releasing estimates of life expectancy at birth and at age 65 years from 2006 to 2024 by sex, province, territory, health region and peer group (2023 boundaries and names).
Agriculture and food
Poultry and egg statistics, October 2026
Poultry and egg statistics are available for Canada and the provinces. Data on stocks of frozen eggs and poultry meats, as well as edible dried egg products, are available for August to October 2026. Data on the placements of hatchery chicks and turkey poults are available for July to September 2026, and data on egg production are available for June to August 2026.
